This set of rear brake ducts are designed specifically for the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT to improve the brake cooling performance during track driving or spiriting driving.
The factory brake system is powerful and is designed specifically for everyday driving. However, during spirited and/or track driving, the factory brake system may become overheated easily, causing brake fade and in severe cases, potential complete brake failure.
To ensure that brake temperatures are kept in check, Ansix Auto brake ducts are designed to direct airflow to the brake components to effectively reduce the possibility of brake fade due to repeated, hard braking events. The end result is a more consistent, confidence-inspiring brake pedal feel during hard driving.
Optional material selection: The standard duct kit uses deflectors made of haircell ABS plastic. This is the same material most bumpers and other panels are made of and gives a durable part. For lighter weight we also offer these in epoxy infused carbon fiber. These are lighter and slightly more flexible than the ABS versions. Please note that the carbon fiber is peal ply on the back side and mold surface smooth on the other. These are not "show quality" parts however they're very functional. Both options are currently made to order with about 2 week lead time.

The brake duct is mounted using high quality remusable cable ties (three each) that secure it to the lower control arm.
***Cutting of the factory brake dust shield is required for installation.***
