The Ansix 4-2-1 race header was designed specifically for the FA24 in the new BRZ and GR86. The header features larger runners to allow for less restriction of the higher displacement motor. The header was CAD designed to ensure the runner lengths are perfectly equal. The secondary design intent of the header was to clear space for a large capacity oil pan. Two flex joints are included in the runners to minimize thermal stresses which will help avoid any welds from cracking. Each header is hand built from mandrel bent 304 stainless tubes.
The Ansix large capacity oil pan was designed specifically to be used with the Ansix race header. It is fabricated out of stainless steel and features a drain port directly below the pick up tube so it can be inspected at every oil change for RTV debris. The Ansix oil pan adds an additional 2L to the oiling system and also features baffling to specifically target pressure loss when braking and turning right.
The header can be used without the oil pan but the oil pan cannot be installed without the header. Test data for the header and oil pan will be released at a later date. The header and pan combo is currently on a preorder special price of $700 for the first 10 orders. After that, the MSRP will be $1200.
