The STI transmission mount is designed with a stiffer rubber than the OEM unit. The stiffer rubber reduces transmission movement and reduces losses in power and torque transmission. It delivers snappy response for steering and throttle operation and improved shifter feel. Other mounts or mount inserts on the market acheive the same performance benefits but also add a lot of unwanted noise vibration and harshness.
